This postcard shows Colonel A. M. Hunter, the Commanding Officer
of Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn, New York. It served as the
mobilization center for the Boy Scout Jamboree. It had also
been the embarkation point for many U.S. soldiers headed for
Europe during World War I.
