This work is the result of the unique combination of the author's fifty-year background in Scouting, his knowledge of postcards and postcard collecting, and his academic expertise in computer science.  To credit everyone responsible for bringing this work to fruition, he would have to follow each thread starting with his parents who first exposed him to the Scouting displays in Chicago's department stores, where as a four-year old he became intrigued with the uniforms and the brass bugles.  The result would be long, tedious, and inevitably incomplete.

There are three people, however, whose direct contribution to this specific publication must be recognized.  The author's wife, Jody, has an ability to ferret out gems from a box of a thousand postcards that is matched by few and exceeded by none.  She is responsible for some of the choicest images on this disk.  Her advice and counsel in regard to layout, design, and ease of navigability have enhanced the look and feel of the final product.

Laurie and Jamie Wagner provided the final proofreading.  They both tenaciously hunted down typos, pointed out grammatical lapses, and recommended stylistic modifications to improve the finished product.  Laurie in particular tracked down misplaced links.   Proofreading linked text requires a special skill, extra patience, and a highly-organized, logical mind.  In addition, their intense concentration gave two-year old Elijah and his grandfather some precious play time.
