The German Scout stamp association, ArGe Pfadfinder e.V., has produced and used the Scout slogan meter catalog ArGe Pfadfinder Freistempel Katalog since at least the 1980s.  This has become the primary reference for identification of Scout slogan meter stamps.

ArGe Pfadfinder and SOSSI have collaborated to release this fourth digital edition of this informative catalog.  In this 2023 update, 627 pages containing the meter slogans of the United States have been added, more than doubling the size of the 2022 catalog.  Besides being produced in both German and English, enhancements to the original include color examples (where possible), identification of the meter stamp type and known years of usage.  The pdf is searchable to aid in identifing a slogan.

The International Postage Meter Stamp Catalog by Richard Stambaugh was used to identify the meter stamp types.  The Scout and Guide Meter Stamp Catalog 2023 Edition, compiled by Charles Schafstall from the preceding catalogs and original research, is available to members and non-members at no cost.  You can download by clicking on the title above.  Additions, corrections or comments can be sent to Charles Schafstall.  Yearly updates are planned.
