The XV WJ was held in Kananaskis, about 80km west of Calgary, Canada. Canada Post issued a stamp to honor the event and the 75th anniversary of Scouting, 1908-1983.

The stamp design was the winning entry in a national poster contest on the theme of "What Scouting Means to Me." The poster is by Marc Fornier, aged 12, a Boy Scout from Edmundston, New Brunswick. The stamp was issued on the 3rd day of the Jamboree.
