These covers were canceled 25 July 1949 at Pittsburgh to commemorate the start of the first air mail flight (AM flight 97) from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Buffalo, New York.  It is backstamped at the Buffalo AMF on the same day.  The pilot for this flight was C.R. Barraclough.

Canceled 15 September 1949 at Holdenville, Oklahoma to commemorate the start of the first Central Airlines airmail flight (AM flight 81) from Holdenville to Oklahoma City.  Cover is backstamped at Oklahoma City on the same day.  The pilot for this flight was Gordon Bourland.
